About 10 years ago, the Lord spoke to me about proclaiming His voice through the print media. It is a dream me and my wife started praying for. Gradually, our intentions and convictions led us to study a few things about Uganda in relation to our dream.

We learnt that most print media, especially newspapers, report conflicts and generally ‘bad news’. Some religions already had representative publications whose content was almost publicity for their respective institutions. After the Lord had spoken to me, I identified a gap.

With a lot of secular publications on the streets, I realised a vacuum that needed to be filled by the unprejudiced voice of God. Besides all our religious denominations and particular interpretations of the Bible, what the Word of God says does not change. A year ago, I started Good News together with a small team, with the intention of presenting the Word of God as it is.

I am happy the publication has made a year now, and we have faithfully proclaimed the Good News (Gospel) as it is. We are grateful to the churches that have embraced the paper and all our individual readers from the time we began.

Good News is for all Christians, all believers in the Bible as the Word of God and those who seek to become Christians. We are praying this Christian newspaper will appeal to the lost world and draw it back to its creator and saviour for eternal life.
