In the September 2020 edition of Good News, our headline was: “When I see the blood, I will pass over them.” The children of Israel who heeded to this warning, even the Egyptian families, were saved from the Angel of death.

Since the creation of man, this has been the principle of God – bringing salvation and healing to mankind through the blood. When Adam and Eve sinned and realised they were naked, God killed a lamb and used its skin to cover their nakedness (Gen 3:21). You realise again this healing of their nakedness came through the shedding of blood.

Covid-19 vaccine, the blood
Scientists throughout the world are now looking for the vaccine, again using blood, hoping to find a cure for this terrible plague. There is life in the blood.

When a patient loses blood, he is transfused not with animal blood but compatible human blood. Not monkey blood, but human blood. If we came from monkeys as some people tend to believe, then monkeys’ blood would be working in the human body. This is not the case.

Jesus’ blood is life
I strongly believe God is reminding the whole world about what He did more than 2,000 years ago in Israel on Mt Olives where Jesus was crucified, shed His blood and died for me and you. This was the message then, and it is the message today.

He that has the Son of God has life, and he that has not the Son has no life. And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is true, and we are in Him that is true, even in His Son Jesus Christ (1John 5:19-20 KJV). This is the true God and eternal life.

This is your chance, my friend, to respond to the Gospel, the Good News of Jesus Christ for you and your family.
Stay blessed.
