Safina Namukwaya is the first woman in Africa to give birth at 70 years old. She welcomed her twins; a son and a daughter, on November 29, 2023 at Women’s Hospital International and Fertility Centre, Bukoto in Kampala. This is Namukwaya’s second delivery after giving birth to her first child in 2020 while she was 67 years old.
