Covenant Nations Church led by First Daughter and Pastor Patience Rwabogo held its second Annual Partner’s Dinner to apprise partners and fundraise on November 24, 2023.
While speaking to the partners as a guest of honour and main speaker, First Lady Janet Kataha Museveni, thanked God for the achievements of the ministry in the year 2023.
She encouraged the leadership of the Church to share their messages through the different media platforms to get wider coverage of the Gospel.
She also encouraged the bible college leadership to focus on practical training for the students in order to equip them well enough to be the much needed light in the world today.
Mrs Museveni also called on believers to ditch the foreign aid mentality for the development of foreign organizations and the Church, calling it a “sad attitude”.
“Make the deliberate decision that God is our source, and that we are going to be givers, that we will actually break the yoke of poverty and luck in our lives”, emphasized the First Lady.
The Church leadership extended gratitude to the partners and congregation for their prayers and financial support.
