Hebrews 11:6 says: “But without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”

A great life is a life of pleasing God in actions, words, thoughts and at heart.

You can never please God without faith. This means faith is central for a better life.

When we come to God in prayer, answers may not come immediately, but we must have confidence that He is able to do what we ask of Him.

We must believe He has heard our prayers and is answering us because a faith-based life has no room for doubt. A man of faith can pray his future into existence.

As Mark 11:23 reveals: “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.”

Jesus says a person of faith will have whatever they ask for in prayer. Glory be to God, Hallelujah.

Faith with action
When it comes to faith, you do not have to just sit and wish. You take a step, stand and command things to be removed in the name of Jesus Christ without doubt in your heart.

The challenge might be physically visible, but melting away in spirit. Once it has fully been dealt with spiritually, the results manifest physically, and you experience your victory.

If it is a disease or affliction, and you have prayed and believed God for healing, start thanking God for the healing because He listens and answers prayers. That is faith.

We need to have faith like Abraham’s. He simply trusted God and followed His instructions without questioning Him.

As we see in Hebrews 11:8: “By faith, Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.”

Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Elijah, Moses, and Noah, were great men used by God because of their unwavering faith no matter the circumstances they faced.

These men lived great and faith-filled lives which, as Christians, we ought to emulate.

It should be noted that a life of faith does not mean you will not encounter challenges. You might encounter hard-to-crack challenges more than any other person, but in the middle of such troubles, your hope and confidence should be in God. He will deliver you.

The end is glorious
Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego displayed strong faith. Daniel 3:17: “If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king.”

These three men refused to bow to King Nebuchadnezzar’s idols, regardless of being thrown into the fire. While there, God was with them. They did not get hurt because they were protected by His mighty power.

Daniel 3:25: “Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

“After the king had realised that the three men were not being consumed by the fire, he realized ‘there is no other God who can deliver like this’” (Daniel 3:29).

Daniel 3:30: “Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the province of Babylon.”

Eventually, the name of God was glorified. The king himself made another decree that caused the whole nation to worship the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego.

So, a life of faith is a life of promotions. It is a life of moving from glory to glory, regardless of how hard the process may be.

Faith pleases God and He rewards faithful men. When you pray and live a life of faith in God, you will receive answers.

As you go through this month, do not forget that a great life is the faith life in Christ Jesus.

May your faith in Christ be lifted more than ever before in the name of Jesus Christ.

Amen.
