Dear friend, firstly I wish you a blessed new year. We all thank God who has taken us through 2021 safely.
Many of our friends and relatives succumbed to Covid-19 pandemic, but there is a purpose why you and I are alive today.

We need to take this opportunity to serve the Lord heartily from the bottom of our hearts, redeeming the time because we are living the last and evil days.

God’s providence
Since we started writing about this subject in our paper about three years ago, we are reminded over and over again that God is our source of everything that we need.

We need to remember it is God and not the government, or anything else that supplies our daily needs, both materially and spiritually.

Jesus reminded us in Deuteronomy 8:3: “And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live.”

Jesus quoted this scripture also when He was in the desert being tempted of the devil in Matthew 4:3-4.

Matthew 6:25-34
Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on.

Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them.

Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment?

Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Take therefore, no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

The above are photos of a few flowers taken from my small home garden recently. I am sure you have similar flowers possibly even more beautiful colours than these.

Take time and look at each flower in details, you will see the wonder of God’s creation, which is the top of engineering work. Jesus said not even that great King Solomon clothing would match this.

The beauty of these flowers cannot even be compared to the Queen of England’s elegant dress code.
What a wonderful God we serve! Jesus summarizes all these in Mathew 6:33, where He tells us to seek first the kingdom of God and all other things will come to us.

The kingdom of God is Jesus Himself. If you seek Him, put Him first and worship Him, whether publicly or secretly, His glory will cover you and you will be fed and live a victorious life on a daily basis.

Personal testimony
Early 2021, I got interested in a piece of empty land, located in an upper high end area of the town, near our hospital.
It has been there for more than 20 years, but I never knew the owner.

When I inquired around, I did not get the details of ownership; so, I left the matter. It seemed untouchable, probably because of how expensive it is, due to its location.

I was given a very scary price, but I wanted this land. I remembered the scripture that talks about faith moving mountains, Matthew 17:20.

I also remembered Isaiah 55, which says that he who thirsts and has no money, should go to the Lord and receive without price.

If I had discussed this with anybody else apart from my wife, they would call me mad, but I told the Lord that I wanted this land for His work and not my consumption.

I prayed with my wife asking for God’s will to be done. To cut the long story, we had this property in our hands legally before end of 2021.

People who knew this place asked me how I succeeded, yet the rich people failed at it, and I told them that my God and heavenly Father is richer and He paid it for me.

This is what He does when we trust Him, Hallelujah!

As we start this New Year, let us seek God, and everything else will follow.

Wishing you a blessed New Year, 2022.
